The course's focus aligns with the goals and objectives of the Music program in the elementary education curriculum, providing a platform to guide participants in fostering children's cognitive, emotional, and social development through music. It aims to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to develop effective teaching skills and strategies for implementing and assessing grade-level objectives, which include emphasizing the development of creativity and aesthetic sense, expressing emotions, thoughts, and experiences through music, interconnecting play, music, dance, drama and speech, and recognizing local, regional, national and international music genres.
